everyday foundation routine

Not only is it time for an updated foundation routine but also you deserve an explanation as to where I have been. I stopped posting because I got caught up in applying to grad schools and the holiday season. Once that had passed life just seemed to get in the way in general. My camera died leaving me unable to photograph my looks. Once spring arrived the acceptance/rejection letters came rolling in and I started thinking about my future. Shortly thereafter I moved back home in preparation for my move to New York City to start grad school at Pratt Institute.

Going into school I thought “I can keep up the blog I’ll just post once a week or so” ah how young and foolish I was. The program I entered is one of the most competitive in the country meaning I am occupied with school for about 80+ hours a week. Now as I move into my last semester, which I am sure will be just as hard, I am trying to start this up again as an outlet to help relieve some of my stress. Doing this is something that I really enjoy and I hope you all enjoy it as well.

This routine was born out of not having enough time in my daily routine for makeup so I had to minimize everything. Now on to my routine, more in depth skin are routine to follow:

  • moisturizer
  • bare mineral original foundation in Fairly Light
  • Brightening Pearl Perfect Light Mineral Veil
  • Chic radiance as blush or base for blush
  • Benefit Erase Paste in No 1 on under eye circles and occasional breakouts
  • Velvet Taupe to fill in brows
  • curl eyelashes using revlon eyelash curler
  • Loreal Voluminous False lash fiber in Blackest Black and waterproof (but that’s just a personal preference)

Gorgeous! I had to minimize my routine, too, just because I can’t seem to drag myself out of bed in the morning. Having good skincare has certainly helped, because I don’t have to cover up as much anymore…
